I just can't get enough of these oh so fun challenges! For this submission, I headed over to Emma's (My Creative Time with Emma) blog which is www.creativetimeforme.com. Every Thursday, Emma hosts a challenge that she calls "Throwback Thursdays" which inspires us to use older cricut cartridges or any cricut cartridges that we own to make super fun crafty projects. Emma's blog is one of my favorite blogs to follow. She is so talented and helpful. I really think you should check it out if you haven't been there already. With all that said, I would like to share with you my submission for this week's "Throwback Thursday" challenge. This week we were given instructions to use a "Kid Friendly" cartridge, such as any "Disney" , "Create a Critter", "Nursery Tales", "A Child's Year" etc.......
***MUST BE A "Kid Friendly" THEME project of YOUR choice!!! and submit it by November 16, 2011. I chose to make a scrapbook layout of my niece from our vacation last July. I used The "Playtime" Cricut lite cartridge that I received with my Cricut expression as well as the "Classic Cricut Font" cartridge to make this layout. It is a fun colorful layout. I had fun making it. I really enjoy making scrapbook layouts and sharing them with friends and family so this was the perfect choice of project to make to share with you. I hope you enjoy this layout and that you gain some inspiration from this project! I also hope you play along with this challenge because it has been a lot of fun! If you like what you see please consider becoming a follower of this blog and don't forget to leave a comment as well as information about your blog so I can stop by and visit!

Bye for now!

Happy crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-44961321443975300422011-11-08T15:41:00.000-08:002011-11-08T16:03:51.731-08:00Celebrate the Occasion Challenge # 38 !<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgb65sPuGh606uxKjbYF5hI2SZxKk2CyA9evS-IvzF22dffdfFTU6e2oageFEwLemaNtPwWwnxeODXpJkuf6l3w_bEgQ69mVt6DVSp1pIn9lfbDtOiCsWA5QYq4BHsFRtjQCaRtDTnSM_4/s400/DSC05231.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5672779828395608530" />
Hello my friends!

I am back with another entry for the "Celebrate the Occasion" blog.
I had so much fun playing along with last weeks challenge that I decided to participate in this weeks challenge, challenge number 38! Become a follower of this blog if you like what you see and If you have a blog tell me about it and I will stop by and visit. It has been a great weekend for creating. I found myself with lots of time to spend in my craft room and that always makes me happy. I hope all of you get to spend some time creating this weekend too!
Yesterday, I finished my 2nd Christmas Scrapbook layout of 2011. I love how it turned out! I used 3 Cricut Cartridges to make this layout. The cartridges I used are "Jolly Holidays", "Classic Cricut Font", and "Christmas" (It came w/the Gypsy). I plan to put pics of our Christmas tree on this page. And Today, I made my 1st 2 Christmas cards of the season. The tree came from the "Jolly Holidays" cartridge. The stamps came from the dollar bin at Michaels. I know it is not even Thanksgiving yet, but I am in the mood for Christmas. I hope this post gives you some inspiration and ideas for your holiday crafting. Remember it is never to early to get your holiday crafting done.

Have a wonderful evening!

Happy crafting !

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-26980419929642667502011-11-02T15:25:00.000-07:002011-11-02T15:45:03.044-07:00Celebrate the Occasion Challenge # 37 !<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdJoJ5fdnqVg5Ntr3XyLUfuhB4kVkbSlO9pzqr64nAhCpwCctzR3gcI5PM23tzuCR-sB2dvNWS7lmkQTBHIANx8VMrFmHoHjgaFwNGadJPyXjt164wX3jQFXvkdNzBogma_RJvnIgQUjI/s400/DSC05221.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5670531924536248802" />
Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is have a wonderful Wednesday!

Today, I am sharing with you a simple card that I made for the Celebrate the Occasion challenge blog. Today, I made this super fun Christmas layout and I wanted to share it with you! I am trying to get a jump start on my Christmas layouts/cards this year. So far so good! I used the "Jolly Holidays" Cricut Cartridge and the DCWV "Christmas Combo" Paper Stack from 2010 to make this layout. I was given the "Jolly Holidays" cartridge as a gift last year for Christmas and I finally get to use it! I really like it. It is one of my favorite Cricut Cartridges so far. I hope this layout provides some ideas and inspiration for you as you begin your Christmas crafting. You can play along with this challenge by going to http://cardztv.blogspot.com/ For my entry I created a card for my niece Madison using an image from the "Mini Monsters" Cricut Cartridge. My niece loves candy corn. I think she would eat it year round if she could so that was the inspiration for this card. We stopped at a candy shop on Mackinac Island to buy some fudge. My niece Madison was watching peanut brittle being made. Yum!! I used the "Mini Monsters" Cricut Cartridge to create this layout! It is one of my favorites from my vacation scrapbook. The paper I used came from "The Great Vacation Stack" put out by DCWV. Although the "Mini Monsters" cartridge is primarily a Halloween cartridge I found a way to use it for a summer layout. I hope this inspires you and challenges you to try something new and use cartridges that have a specific theme in a new way.

Be inspired and keep on crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-42091422826826529782011-04-24T19:28:00.000-07:002011-04-24T19:36:27.141-07:00Happy Easter!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCo8l5n-xqMeJRWh4cvBZov0VXNOAPDrWCD6jT8QxqizsKTQijLStgvfVzN6_zCbks8jT8P556j7vklwyx5HUmeatrpuvrsU_ZpIHuWdtYXio2SSkWU60mZ00v2BCyt6Wi3eL3PT4ChBE/s400/DSC04394.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5599344313209283554" />
Happy Easter everyone!

I wanted share an Easter card I made for my niece Madison. I have 4 days off from work and I am trying to spend as much time as possible in my craft space creating. Today, I would like to share with you a card I created for the Mothers Day color challenge hosted by Mary over at CardZtv.blogspot.com If you haven't been to Mary's blog please stop by she has some awesome projects to share and wonderful craft tutorials. I haven't participated in a challenge in a while so I thought since I need to make some mothers day cards this would be a fun challenge to be apart of. To participate in the challenge you have to make a mothers day card or mothers day project that includes the colors white, purple, green, and blue. I hope you all enjoy the card I made. The deer is cut from the "Give a Hoot" cricut cartridge. The scallop is cut from the "winter woodland" cartridge.

Happy Crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-76459407080244052352011-02-09T17:23:00.000-08:002011-02-09T17:42:41.178-08:00What I have been working on!!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQxcd6BjPEAZFkVGWoQSC4h0cdNKkZ9GNw5nryS2PweSIduLtjXZdjlNgPd95-gzuDQahmTAa9i1iveTul7YQTsgvfXdbJccLDLWSAOXn6MHaq2LaeaWzKIg7zmDgMsv7yKQGls8sCB1Y/s400/DSC04283.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571870052785687538" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKWUUtkHjpTsY1dhOckYy4staY_0LPvbndTdLgMfMDz8OBGOdzRuNr1jClK_aNGbGGXkUfty3Zf_0zr0jH_9zhyphenhyphenaY03kEyzFQEeqQegwH4ic-NjoBQEHF5PFGmgvzc6XDOWbK5Hg6Jm04/s400/DSC04284.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571870042937393394" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTz0BOXs8sUwcRmS8arM479sevUFeMCEJ-r1CVgWSvFzpLcmz72LeAADyZ6cdpIwdaAMe9JUvouXg8DOQ4bnTrqJzjvwgqIRHQwO0WerPSRD6fOcSZ8SY5PbhP35o47gVH7FRWPPkGuMA/s400/DSC04285.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5571870040057267682" />
I would like to share with you a few scrapbook pages that I have created using pictures that were taken at my niece's 2nd birthday party. I received this cart from my brother, sister in-law, and niece for Christmas. I thought it would be appropriate to create a Thank You card for them using the cart they gave me. I just love the little snow man cut! I used Christmas red stickles on his hat to add something special to the cut. Momo's Tuesday challenge was to make something with a snow theme in mind that is the reason why I chose to use the snowman on this card. I am going to go now and get this card in the mail. I hope you enjoyed the card and were inspired to make all kinds of projects using a snow theme!

Happy Crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-47246510222545410182010-12-14T17:46:00.000-08:002010-12-14T18:12:49.265-08:00CHRISTMAS CARDS!!! Tonight, I finally finished my Christmas cards! I just finished stuffing them in envelopes, addressing them and stamping them, all 50 of them. I can not wait to take them to the post office tomorrow and send them out. I have never made my own Christmas cards before and I have to say I really enjoyed making my own cards. I plan on continuing this tradition for years to come. There is something special about creating your very own Christmas cards and I am so glad I put the time and effort into this project. It took a lot of time and effort but it was fun and so rewarding! I hope these cards will put a smile on the face of all who receive them. I chose to make a pedestal card that measures 4 and 3quarters by 5 1/2. I made 50 cards and chose 5 designs. I made 5 sets of 10 cards each. I chose two stamped image designs and 3 Cricut cut designs. I kept the designs simple and used Stickles glitter glue as my only embellishment on the cards. I think this is the most cards I have ever made at one time. I started around Thanksgiving and finished tonight. Because I work full-time, I had to work on the cards here and there whenever I had free time. I have no regrets and think everyone should try making there own Christmas cards at least once in their lifetime. I had fun but it is a relief to be done. Now it is on to my next project-Christmas Tags for my Christmas gifts so stay tuned!

Happy Crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-54956376498882348462010-11-27T14:47:00.000-08:002010-11-27T15:19:57.339-08:00Hand made Advent Calendar (Countdown to Christmas)<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlgES4IzQZCoSBx2hisfC_WT5zjceTaI4d7s-vBHFGeh3F39dz-OCawjGUzN9HlKtcZfTDXguqrsVBBYgeVpMxbVdIA92P1f9yDDo2kLXtUZrtLfrvErxtnWwL_v4vphRAts1N9rB7uds/s400/DSC04100.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5544372564572893458" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJ2vDcnP5BJc2uM1XZuqeKZU8pfmjMkYmBAWUl8WGC46NeMjVURUJc3VnmNdYF76uYLoFwImaG-pSZYo7sKX83EZ6vrF_zrXiN2T-ZUe8SXamrGbuZmA-Amsx5AUPX_fHxENbX0wTzuhY/s400/DSC04101.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5544372549553347506" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKp8-wHNe2gV45_UXKos-6M3cNWgGJzr8kRF2HXMuiMTDA_mgA9r35vJSiyN4G-JWvUxOH2tkjbp3-fguHHURx1TbNTbBF3JIFtiHnJAxV2gdJtCZWWp7SujgU_nHdD-pA6hCFnppT5ko/s400/DSC04098.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5544372542533945426" />
Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know we did. We had the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving twice this year. The 1st dinner was with Grandma and Grandpa Foster and family in Wheat field, IN and then we celebrated Thanksgiving at home in our apartment with my mom, brother in-law and his girlfriend. It was the 1st time that my husband and I had ever hosted Thanksgiving dinner and it was a great success! We had never cooked a Turkey before and we were a little nervous about it but it turned out perfect and everyone enjoyed it. Anyways, enough blabber LOL! On to the project! Today I would like to share a project with you that I started a few weeks ago and finished today. It is an Advent Calendar. I made it using a kit that I bought at Joann's Fabric. The kit is made by DCWV and it cost around 10$ but included all the supplies needed to make a very cute advent calendar. The only thing you need is glue or some type of adhesive. The kit offers suggestions on how to put the calendar together but you can create your calendar any way you want. I love love love how mine turned out! It is absolutely adorable! Unfortunately, the pictures do not do it justice. It is really colorful and full of glitter and texture. This weekend, I am decorating for Christmas so I will be hanging it up for all to see. Thank you for stopping by and hope this inspires you to not just buy Christmas decor this year but make some of your own. It is so much fun and does not have to be expensive. It allows you to put your own personal touch on the Holidays and can help create new traditions and some amazing memories.

Have a wonderful evening!

Happy crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-30378846252394918462010-11-16T16:48:00.000-08:002010-11-16T17:05:15.110-08:00Momo's Tuesday Challenge ! Every Tuesday Momo hosts a challenge for us to participate in and it is always a fun way to demonstrate our creative abilities. Todays challenge was to incorporate a turkey into a project of your choice. I decided to make a card. I did not use my Cricut to complete this project, Instead, I used die cut stickers to make my card. I had some Thanksgiving Day stickers that I had won at a crop back in September and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to use these stickers to make a card. This card confirms that you do not need a Cricut or the latest technology to make a cute card. All I used was card stock, patterned paper, adhesive, and stickers in this project. I love how this card turned out! It is so cute! I hope you have been inspired!

Thank You for Stopping By!

Happy Crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-87845671346949112372010-10-26T16:13:00.000-07:002010-10-26T16:32:48.932-07:00I am back with some cards to share with you!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga6HVMf-lq3lFPpHBj9In0xGkFY8uxl8kn5ZcBIts-fnJr7l2o1vl2WzXnH92leo8gDr1zmDXtZ-KpFsQP5RVD7pJtiPlUUFIjbmn-ik2T3IT0zWAqr3AVWHrnetNCs6usOpcqtSBeIeA/s400/DSC04013.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532501428571890802" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXZMp-ujHS0KCDv70-V37zvluwgmHLYX3SdxkudPNuq35W5DYtIyfhMnP-_Qb9q7Tf7IRHrPlMI0fatefHrF0D0xh-vTEcUeG_GTJzTcDehZza1fC4PjJmRd87A9esnWuw9QQZNQkPQt8/s400/DSC04011.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532501419582215506" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTHLoQYOBKP3_hqVHALociodn51L8u2AQcqh6OhbIfjDBrgCS4tnrWogdJpt_ky74S5LHmmowz0VxZsEpds4gDyXimoTeQnETIBlJxLzmUzlqA_JhwDVratCIzJY1V6O1lkwUt5a7ccd8/s400/DSC04015.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532501415294340546" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6KSd2oyQHc4GcerEVRmxFNsanmcIQeX2LAJZqsywyJmPTYG_vEDCAwwxKq3BS4hxSadn2us5XiGlvfFwYoY6MdhcdKTr5m0vA7Fq-7-T-sDOMFN3Pb3GIoFOtstnvcayHSWybTzgSNGA/s400/DSC04016.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532501411677390738" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_8XQccuGFJ5mzlgBB8F6AeTsWFHniTJhmbkzKkd9XRV93sR6RVcaCKwNhAPaG0ZE0p0TYEZDC2lzIxD1qwXcjW0j9PaQLaxbvZR2TH1lN3e6nszia5duviCWg1rGVr0XoQyNyrvbhObI/s400/DSC04017.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5532501407366123810" />
I'm back! I asked my husband who by the way is very artistic, creative, and crafty if he would like to play along and he said he would. He decided to make a birthday card because on Friday(yesterday) we were attending a birthday party for a friend and we still needed a card for this special occasion. Not only did my husband make a card but he used my Martha Stewart score board to make a homemade envelope and embellish it as well. I love how the card came out but, I love everything my husband creates. He is very talented. If you stop by my Etsy shop when it opens you will see that he is crafty with paper too! Thank You Momo for such a fun Challenge! I know my husband had fun and I enjoyed seeing what he came up with without any input or help from me. He used Create a Critter to make this card and envelope.

Happy Crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-76560873703871179022010-09-14T16:00:00.000-07:002010-09-14T16:26:00.203-07:00A Card for fall!<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSG8K4AmgEUDSIUuA8BzMGueM4y2zAPSD2SOqY7ijcXMW5MXN7RPB-6QJBTSlly8Zac3gXhB_2AKVs_zr-GcwgMynHQNkg2bkWlikRAJac5GnkK6l0zxoLU7zS30SHQlRxTb7LOMfsxzs/s400/DSC03976.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5516914058168509362" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivmsEV2_fW93V_MXahHc9IW9Xx836oxariJGlw6l5LOnO0JpNlVR8IY6eOiktLTRYCO9EdCSHGb3Jrf8a_QUxAcLGwMDIF0AI6IkfEgLyzjy1Ln6uuMDGz7PeVJUUpiKPCyyKhC9-n36o/s400/DSC03779.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5516914046163639538" />
Hello Everyone!

I hope you are having a terrific Tuesday! Today, I am sharing with you a card that was inspired by my niece Madison and Momo's latest challenge. Madison is almost 2 years old and I wanted to send her a a just because card to say happy fall! Check out Momo's blog for details on the challenge! www.madebymomo.blogspot.com I loooove this card! It is soo super cute! I think that this card turned out better then I imagined in my mind. It measures 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 and the images are cut from the create a critter cartridge. If you like this card, I made two of them. One for Madison and one to sell in my Etsy shop. I am still setting up shop but I should have items for sale in my shop by the end of this week so I hope you check it out! I am sooooooo excited about it! I will have a link on my blog soon! The result is another cute card to share with you and inspire you. I titled this card "Cloud Nine". The images are cut from the "Sweet Hearts" Cricut Cartridge. I also used glitter on this card because I love love love glitter! If you like this card, I will be opening my own etsy shop soon and it will be for sale. The inside of the card is blank which allows you to write your own special message or note to the one you love. Thank You for stopping by! If you would like to contact me for any reason leave a comment and a way for me to get a hold of you and I would be happy to respond.

Happy Crafting!

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-45317064202912724792010-09-11T14:51:00.000-07:002010-09-11T15:20:23.260-07:00Halloween Cards !<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOZPYoCa6aWyxOTQYJRRAkHFZ3pI0ZmWk-wGOX6XsPSeD5YfQX20kVBSksn_T4wpOvRNba2Ku3C0UktK5RT0ZaIsK0gJaFLsCa0xjgV7_RnVOKPtCDt5MvL4b_z_I2ct5i1nNjkaI3uL4/s400/DSC03968.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5515784166176545602" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXYpjHy6KrvdGq5_40RabxUW3Ga51Ifewcq0Ax-jx5yIbFXcIFuzwtM3kosn5Ij98Cnk2MIlXjg0b0H_qX7AfRJjENGTIbIHd5GbGvY_kmv8fJ8OvKm_WQbwJb0b1f3ZfDfdfptzhbHkM/s400/DSC03969.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5515784163231555538" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbBJYHVaafOf17HKaH7h1tpaznQVtaCITBwfYfK52D3hyphenhyphen5QzdG-2oWLWoZctIWzuhMoXq1dj0lqhLhvQBSAu7TReQRXT5M2ql3qf6AHwBbewPpAQpTGDH9eE9rrnjiixKLDF8i0xDlelE/s400/DSC03970.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5515784152790607970" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSvXkU_cOVSNbxR7TmIx2SBElJ9oSptp7iRm1IDaRD79SxspeqYSl6jZpMsYd5qQFSQGx60rgAdxDP8_VsjlsDbKzQgQP9_8oI3GWHKZMKoPQAkor-NXy45le-IaOGB7lMRvhhdgFan7U/s400/DSC03971.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5515784144330958690" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeD9_1-O4iIlKIy0HRVRWzT8Lax1vPR42hyphenhyphenzsF719iiruznu8ytk7tHy8ikMnRAIeYPu2RnLD1cNWDIYILi4zCeeOlOZkKM-kXM8OvsAQnUhdhyphenhyphenhAkWTSQ8Yg957ej6aGMMjcRBWygh2c/s400/DSC03972.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5515784135533670674" />
Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share with you a few Halloween cards that I made recently for a challenge over at Mary's blog which is http://cardztv.blogspot.com/. You can get to her blog by clicking on her button on the right side of my blog. The challenge was to make a Halloween card. It is that simple. I made 1 card and then 3 more cards because I was having so much fun and I wanted to use the new card stock and stamps that I recently purchased. I used K & Company Halloween designer card stock and We are memory keepers clear stamps from the "Heebie Jeebies" Halloween stamp collection. I also used stickles to add some glitter to each card. I purchased the card stock at Michaels and the stamps at my local scrapbook store. I did not use the Cricut for this project. Instead, I used the Martha Stewart circle cutter to make the circles for the cards. I wanted to keep this project simple. I really like how each of these 4 cards turned out. I hope you like them as well and that this project gives you some ideas for your next project. If you have any questions about this project or post please feel free to leave me a comment.

Happy Crafting !

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1454343883635184176.post-36169546546861332162010-09-02T16:50:00.000-07:002010-09-02T17:00:30.419-07:00MOMO'S Tuesday Challenge !<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-UIEF4F4DHs4eoCBPX6mGXRTd0gusVYWUFdA-Mt-akkSrNkHQtuqdaV10T5k8nPvpCZ65Izy4tpbpM0CwhTSZOlRU1VUpq8TYmG_vu7BUu5ouQlA7_rWeZiENi00fnD_dRO32tfpA19c/s400/DSC03910.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5512470189747064546" />
I entered this card into Momo's Tuesday challenge. Life has been busy lately and I have been on vacation but I am back now and I have a new project to share with you. I am so excited to share my latest creation because it is the very 1st mini album that I have ever created and I am very proud of how it turned out. It was soooo much fun to make. I was inspired by "Michelle" from "Scrappin with my Bug" if you have not checked out her blog yet you need to. You can find Michelle at www.scrappinwithmybug.blogspot.com Anyways, Michelle filmed a video tutorial on "How to make a gate fold mini album" simply using card stock and images from "Cricut" cartridges. After seeing the mini album that she created, I knew that I had to try and make one these albums and that I would showcase pictures of my niece in the album I was making. I used colored card stock from "Reflections" which you can purchase at your local "Michaels" store. I also used patterned paper from "K & Company" entitled " Carolyn Gavin designer paper" purchased at "Michaels". I used Create a Critter" and "Don Juan" "Cricut" Cartridges and I stamped some images and sayings as well. Monique is a fellow crafter/scrap-booker and was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Robyn from www.mypinkstamper.com is hosting a campaign that involves creating pink cards for Monique as a way to inspire,encourage,comfort etc.. Monique. I do not know Monique personally however, when you get the opportunity to use your creativity for a good cause you jump at the opportunity. It is opportunities like this one, when I can send love and encouragement someone's way that keeps me inspired to keep making cards etc. I may not know Monique but I do know this disease because I have an aunt who has been diagnosed with breast cancer and in that way we are connected. I will continue to pray for Monique and I hope that my card along with all the cards she receives grant her strength to keep up the fight and ultimately win the fight! If you would like to create and send a card to Monique, please head over to www.mypinkstamper.com for details.

Happy Crafting !

AbbeyAbbey (Abigail)http://www.blogger.com/profile/06511348702340071974noreply@blogger.com1
