Throwback Thursday Challenge!!

Hello Everyone!

I am on a challenge kick lately so please bare with me! I just can't get enough of these oh so fun challenges! For this submission, I headed over to Emma's (My Creative Time with Emma) blog which is www.creativetimeforme.com. Every Thursday, Emma hosts a challenge that she calls "Throwback Thursdays" which inspires us to use older cricut cartridges or any cricut cartridges that we own to make super fun crafty projects. Emma's blog is one of my favorite blogs to follow. She is so talented and helpful. I really think you should check it out if you haven't been there already. With all that said, I would like to share with you my submission for this week's "Throwback Thursday" challenge. This week we were given instructions to use a "Kid Friendly" cartridge, such as any "Disney" , "Create a Critter", "Nursery Tales", "A Child's Year" etc.......
***MUST BE A "Kid Friendly" THEME project of YOUR choice!!! and submit it by November 16, 2011. I chose to make a scrapbook layout of my niece from our vacation last July. I used The "Playtime" Cricut lite cartridge that I received with my Cricut expression as well as the "Classic Cricut Font" cartridge to make this layout. It is a fun colorful layout. I had fun making it. I really enjoy making scrapbook layouts and sharing them with friends and family so this was the perfect choice of project to make to share with you. I hope you enjoy this layout and that you gain some inspiration from this project! I also hope you play along with this challenge because it has been a lot of fun! A Scrapbook Layout and Christmas cards

Hello Everyone!

I hope all is well!
I have a lot to share with you today. It has been a great weekend for creating. I found myself with lots of time to spend in my craft room and that always makes me happy. I hope all of you get to spend some time creating this weekend too!
Yesterday, I finished my 2nd Christmas Scrapbook layout of 2011. I love how it turned out! I used 3 Cricut Cartridges to make this layout. The cartridges I used are "Jolly Holidays", "Classic Cricut Font", and "Christmas" (It came w/the Gypsy). I plan to put pics of our Christmas tree on this page. And Today, I made my 1st 2 Christmas cards of the season. The tree came from the "Jolly Holidays" cartridge. The stamps came from the dollar bin at Michaels. I know it is not even Thanksgiving yet, but I am in the mood for Christmas. I hope this post gives you some inspiration and ideas for your holiday crafting. Remember it is never to early to get your holiday crafting done.

Have a wonderful evening!

SWEET TREATS SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT !

Today, I would like to share with you a page from a scrapbook I just finished of our family vacation in July of 2011.We went Mackinac Island, MI. We stopped at a candy shop on Mackinac Island to buy some fudge. My niece Madison was watching peanut brittle being made. Yum!! I used the "Mini Monsters" Cricut Cartridge to create this layout! It is one of my favorites from my vacation scrapbook. The paper I used came from "The Great Vacation Stack" put out by DCWV. Although the "Mini Monsters" cartridge is primarily a Halloween cartridge I found a way to use it for a summer layout. I hope this inspires you and challenges you to try something new and use cartridges that have a specific theme in a new way.

Be inspired and keep on crafting!

MOMO'S Tuesday Challenge ! A Snow Theme!

Hello everyone!

Happy New Year!

Today, I would like to share with you a card I made using the Jolly Holidays Cricut Lite cartridge. I received this cart from my brother, sister in-law, and niece for Christmas. I thought it would be appropriate to create a Thank You card for them using the cart they gave me. I just love the little snow man cut! I used Christmas red stickles on his hat to add something special to the cut. Momo's Tuesday challenge was to make something with a snow theme in mind that is the reason why I chose to use the snowman on this card. I am going to go now and get this card in the mail. I hope you enjoyed the card and were inspired to make all kinds of projects using a snow theme!
